Welcome to CWA Sefton Park

CWA Sefton Park is a specialist co-educational school in the heart of Stoke Poges, providing education and care for up to 70 young people aged 9–19. Our students have a history of Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA), high levels of anxiety, and significant gaps in learning. These may arise from disrupted educational experiences, underlying learning or cognitive needs, or a combination of both.

Our brand-new campus, set within a beautifully refurbished historic building, provides a calm, predictable environment that is ideally suited to students who do not display high levels of externalising behaviour, but instead benefit from lower-arousal spaces, consistent routines and trusted adults in order to feel safe enough to engage in learning.

To support this, we operate a primary-style model, delivering learning through small classes of up to 10 students with a single core teacher wherever possible. This approach reduces transitions, minimises anxiety and enables us to build strong relationships, restore confidence and help students make meaningful progress from their individual starting points.

At Sefton Park, we offer:

• Highly personalised teaching delivered through a primary-style model.
• Specialist therapeutic support to reduce anxiety and build emotional resilience.

• A range of recognised qualifications, including Cambridge International GCSEs (iGCSEs) in English and Mathematics, BTEC qualifications, Entry Level qualifications and AQA Unit Awards, enabling students to achieve success through personalised pathways.

• Real-world life skills and preparation for further education, apprenticeships, supported internships and employment.
